WOJ Heathers Sketch

Here is my interpretation of Heathers sketch which I adored using over on WOJ Challenge blog this week. I have used my distressed inks to colour in this lovely image of Melinda blowing kisses which I received as a RAK. I am going to add flock to the wings (once the delievery turns up- but I wanted to show you the card). The papers are basic grey sultry. I am trying to use up papers at the moment as I have lots of packs with just a few sheets left in them - Am I the only one whom doesn't like every sheet in the packs? I always end up with odd patterns I am not sure what to do with! Anyway I hope you like the card.

Friday Sketchers

Well I have tried a plain background to see if blogger is any better but I am still only getting codes for photos - grr.

Here is my entry for friday sketchers. I have rotated the sketch 180 degrees as the bottom edge was not very clean cut! The image is a RAK of a Sarah Kay I think from Cathy. The papers are basic grey Merakesh and the flowers are prima. The roses are hobbycraft and the gems are stash. I hope you like it, sorry for the poor photo quality but it really dark and raining here today and this was the best I could get.

ABC Design Team Card. T is for

Two tone.

I adore this image of Daisy from Sugar Nellie, yet I seem to have neglected her of late. She has been coloured up using distressed inks and then mounted using nesties label 3. The papers are 2 packs of K and Co - Daisy and the other is Mortifica. I have used a prima daisy and the other two layers I have punched out using the background papers. The ribbon and eyelet are stash. I hope you like, do check out the other design teams blog and Fiona, whom makes her last card for us as the gdt member for June.

ABC S is for

This is a scheduled post and as Blogger is still being funny fingers crossed it will work.

This week on ABC it is S is for Summer. So get out all your lovely summer stamps and papers and join us this week.

I have choosen to use this beautiful image from the Summer WOJ kit. I wanted to use vibrant citrus colours with her and as the image was so big after I masked her and added the orange tree (getting good at this and love the effect) I wanted the papers to be not too busy. I choose this loose sheet I think that is K and Co but not sure as it was part of a RAK and added to it plan card stock one of which I put through the cutterbug embossing folder bird and swirls.

I hope that you like it.
